Brief Background:
I have lived in Snohomish County for the past 13 years and I love the people, culture, and geography of the Northwest. I enjoy snowboarding, backpacking, and just about anything that gets me outdoors.
Life experiences that enrich me as a therapist include a marriage that has endured several transitions, co-parenting two children to adulthood, and home schooling while my family traveled.
My specialty is difficult transitions.
Change happens! I specialize in helping people make the most out of periods of rapid change in their lives. Life is a series of transitions, whether it be beginning college, graduating, navigating relationships, parenting, the empty nest, grief and loss, retirement and beyond. In every life-changing event there will be experiences you have in common with others, and experiences that are uniquely yours. I will work with you to combine information about what has been helpful for others with counseling that is uniquely for you. This approach allows you to find direction, relief, new coping skills, self-acceptance and hope.
